When parts are machined to tolerances of 1 millionth of an inch, packaging for transit becomes extremely critical. Packaging must be designed to protect fragile dimensions and features and be operator friendly for placement and removal. Our engineering-planning process considers packaging during the process development stage. Our packaging department is highly experienced and one of our key differentiators. We create custom packaging for all our precision components so there is no damage during processing, transit, through to customers incoming inspection.
Some customers value packaging that can go directly to their production floor. We work with our customers to make the packaging both FOD free and eco-friendly to fit their final requirements.
